Oaklea Mill cottage is a great getaway retreat nestled in the mountains. Oaklea is a family owned cattle property breeding Murray Grey and Hereford cattle. The Condamine river begins its journey at The Head meandering through the property as a creek. In the creek there are platypus and crayfish and many native birds find their homes along the creek bank. The air is cool and clean. The stars are brilliant in the night sky. We have a cosy fire place for the cooler weather. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of capacity to make hearty family meals. Mountain bikes are available to explore on and there is also a challenging 4 wheel drive track down the Coombonarra Gorge. We have plenty of wide open space for tramping.
